I am pleased to congratulate the new students, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Faculty staff; the honorable professors, faculty members, their assistants, and employees and I wish for all new students’ success at their academic study.
My dear students, you have chosen a path that requires continuous effort in learning, training and intensive practice, along with self-reliance in study, research and knowledge.
On the other hand, I am also pleased to extend my gratitude to our former students for their effort and keenness that I have seen in receiving education from their distinguished professors who have left a lasting mark on this great institution.
The Faculty of Agriculture in Mashtohar is distinguished by its many features that may not be found in other faculties such as; its many gardens, its vast land, its orchards and field farms, its livestock and poultry farms, its fish farms, its greenhouses, and various agricultural activities.
The Faculty also hosts sports, cultural and scientific activities, where you will find a chance for your talents. You will also find material and moral support to develop this talent.
As much as I am keen to ask you to gain more knowledge from your esteemed professors, I invite you to practice the student activities that the Faculty provides for you (cultural, sports, social, artistic, etc.).
Such activities develop your talents and refine your personality, which will make you feel more attached to your country and prepare you to leadership, management and successful achievement. My dear students, your belonging to the Faculty of Agriculture, requires great effort and long patience to reach the desired results and the desired goal. Be keen to listen and pay attention to the lectures, discussions and research given by the distinguished professors as you may find in the lecture what you do not find in the book.
Try as much as you can to interact with the lecturer, and you will find a lot and a lot of information that you can’t find at any other place. The distinguished student must have great value in the labor market, which depends on scientific and applied competencies and he must acquire the various skills that distinguish him in the labor market.
The state is keen on distinguished competencies in all branches and aspects to sail the ship of progress to safety. Jobs are no longer just a tradition, but rather competence and knowledge. I am pleased to participate with you in developing, updating and maintaining your Faculty so that it is in the best and most beautiful image for us, for you and for visitors.
And how many young people have occupied prestigious positions thanks to their excellence. I wish you a happy year and a bright future, God willing.
