The medical teams at Benha University have continued their work for the second day in succession to vaccinate Benha University students and staff to encounter Corona Virus.
On the other hand, Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, the Acting President of Benha University said that the medical teams have vaccinated 602 of its employees and students at faculty of Applied Arts and Faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence. It's worth mentioning that Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs have inspected vaccination process at both faculties.
Benha University vaccinates 6000 of its Students and Staff with Corona Virus Vaccine
Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, the Acting President of Benha University has confirmed on continuing vaccinating all the staff and student with Corona Virus Vaccine after vaccinating 6000 of its staff and students.
Dr.Nasser El Gizawy has inspected faculty of Veterinary medicine and Agriculture where he was accompanied by Dr.Amany Abbas, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine dean and Dr.Mohamed El Zabalwy, the Acting dean of Agriculture Faculty and he pointed out that 20,000 doses of vaccine were received from the Ministry of Health where the medical teams were trained on vaccination procedures. He also added that the university pays great attention to vaccinate students and university employees before the start of the new academic year by providing all kinds of logistical support to the medical teams and to help them perform their tasks, as part of the plan to reach a safe and corona-free campus.
Benha University continues vaccination for its Students and Staff
Dr.Gamal Soussa, Benha University President has confirmed on continuing vaccinating all the staff and student with Corona Virus Vaccine before starting the new academic year under auspices of Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice -President for Post graduate Studies, Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Gamal El Ashhab , the faculty of Medicine dean , Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghany, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qalyubia, and Dr. Amr El-Dakhakhny, Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals .
Dr. Gamal Soussa confirmed on vaccinating 60,000 student and staff of the University before starting academic year and to provide all kinds of logistical support to the medical teams and help them perform their tasks, as part of the plan to reach a safe and corona-free campus.

Dr.Gamal Soussa was accompanied by Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice –President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Dr. Mohamed Gamal El Ashhab, Faculty of Medicine dean. In the presence of 500 Students: Dr. Tamer Samir launches the Second Summer School for Space Science
Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs has launched the second Summer School for Space science at Obour Campus with collaboration of the Egyptian Space Agency. The meeting was held in presence of Dr. Gamal Soussa, the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs and Dr. Hazem Elewa, the acting manager of El Obour Branch.
Dr. Tamer Samir said that the theoretical part of the summer school started via distance learning on the video conference platform "Zoom" and the practical classes has been started from today at Obour Campus by dividing the applicants into six different training groups, and each trainee will be required to submit a practical project that will be evaluated by professionals in that field. Dr. Tamer Samir also said that 500 students from different faculties and institutes of Engineering all around Egypt have joined that school and he hopes for them best wishes and success.
Benha University Hostels start receiving Students on Wednesday, February 24, 2021
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University inspected the University hostel at Kafr Saad to look at the final preparations to receive expatriate students during exams. During his tour, Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy inspected restaurants, food stores and accommodation rooms to ensure the standard of cleanliness and to equip the rooms with all the necessary needs to receive students. He also inspected the readiness of the medical clinics, availability of medicines and medical supplies. In his word during the visiting, El Gizawy assured on the importance of applying preventive and precautionary measures in University hostels by following up the continuous sterilization and providing comfort to students inside University hostels as a final preparations for receiving students on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
During his tour at the Hostel, El Gizawy was accompanied by Dr. Gamal Sousse, the General Supervisor on Community Service Sector and the University hostels, Dr. Sayed Abdel-Wanees, the Supervisor of the University hostels and Dr. Awad Allah Soliman, the Director General of the University Hostels.
BU organizes Holy Quran Competition for Students
The General Administration of Youth Welfare at Benha University has organized the Holy Quran competition for students under auspices of Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President, Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs and Dr. Khalid Esawy, the general coordinator for students' affairs.
On the other hand, Dr. Musbah Kohely, the general manager for Youth Welfare department said that Nada Tallat Saad, the student at Faculty of Engineering has got the first place, Eman Ahmed Ismael, the student at Faculty of Physical Therapy has got the second place, Ahmed Mahmoud, the student at Faculty of Nursing has got the third place and Eman Magdy Ibrahim, the student at Faculty of Law has got the fourth place.
Digital Transformation Basics Course for BU Staff and Students
Benha University's Council under presidency of Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has approved holding of Digital Transformation Basics Course for BU Staff and Students. The Course will be held at Information Technology Center (ITC) by cooperation with Technology and knowledge Services Center (TKSC) of the Supreme Council of Universities.
Prof.Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that these course will be held in the frame of the University's plan toward digital transformation and to prepare who passed it to accomplish their digital tasks easily and conveniently.
BU Students success in Manufacturing a Satellite
In the frame of cooperation protocol between Benha University and the Egyptian Space Agency "ESA", the students of the faculty of engineering at Benha have succeeded in implementing and manufacturing a satellite as part of the graduation projects under the auspices of Dr. Gamal El Saeed, the University President and Dr. Mohamed Elkoosy, the CEO of the ESA.
In this regard, Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that the educational satellite makes students interact with satellite technology from a practical point of view, as they became participants in implementing and manufacturing the satellite, confirming that the University was keen to provide full support as well as moral and financial encouragement to students during the study time, especially in the duration of Corona pandemic and distance education.
