Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president hosts prof.Dr. Howayda Barakat, the head of the quality management unit and the assistant professor of management in the European Universities foundation on the fringe of the forum held by the sector of the community service and environment development in the University to talk about the role of the Universities in achieving Egypt vision 2030. This forum is held in the "Tahia Misr" hall in the presence of prof.Dr. Mahmoud Eraqi, the supervisor of the sector of the community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Ayman Samir, the head of innovation support and technology transmission and marketing and Ms. Rania Motaz Amin, the assistant secretary general of the community service and environment development.

BU President: We are keen to link the University's Strategic plan to Egypt's Vision 2030

Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has confirmed on importance of the University's role in the civil society and effective participation of the civil society to prepare the new strategic plan of Benha University 2030.
For his part, Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa mentioned that the meeting comes according to directions of President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi, the President of the Republic, to pay attention to the development of the educational process and to link the scientific research to industry to be effective with all challenges that faces our society in all fields. The meeting was held in presence of Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Mahmoud Iraqi, the general supervisor of the community service and environmental development sector, Dr. Fatma Abdel Wahab, the director of the strategic planning unit at the University, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation , Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Education, Agriculture, Social Solidarity& Manpower in Qalyubia, Director of the Adult Education Authority, Secretary of the National Council for Women, Director of the Relief Center, Director of the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine, Director of Land and Water Department at the Directorate of Agriculture, and Director of Public Relations for Qulubia Irrigation. For his part, Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy said that the University's strategic plan includes 8 strategic goals, as the University seeks to prepare a good graduate whi has ability to compete at labor market , to improve its academic, research and community outcomes and link scientific research with industry and community needs. He also added that the University keen to link its strategic and research plan with the strategic objectives of the state and Egypt's vision for sustainable development 2030

The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) announces for the Program of “Integrated Leading Researches of Africa Agenda 2030” which offers grants of up to £90,000 for 2 years.
     The Program focuses on global environmental change, disaster risk reduction, sustainable energy, human health and well-being in urban environments as well as future earth.
