The environment development and community service sector sends convoys for the El-Hessa village in addition to launching awareness campaigns of the aphthous fever. These convoys are sent under the auspices of prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the University president, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Magraby, the supervisor of the community service and environment development sector and prof.Dr. Amany Abbas, the dean of the veterinary  medicine faculty. 

 Benha University, under the auspices of prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the University president, participates in the first international friendship forum hosted by Mansura University. It is noteworthy that this forum will last to 10-2-2022 and the university president says that University has participated by sending a delegation of the various faculties.

The projects management unit organizes, under the auspices of prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the University president, prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizaway, the vice president of post graduate studies and prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of students and educational affairs, a workshop about the ministry of higher education supported- innovative students' projects. Prof.Dr. Hanaa Mohamed Abu El-Maged, the head of the projects management unit in the faculty of engineering/ Subra delivered a speech in the presence of prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Gafar, the head of the projects management unit in Benha University.

Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the University president announces that the university has ranked between 301-350 among 790 international Universities. The University also ranks the 7^th position among 29 Egyptian universities that have appeared in the British Times ranking for the young universities 2022 and it is noteworthy that this comes in the third row.

The faculty of physical therapy sends a convoy, in accordance with the university's role in the society, for the Tahanoub village within the decent life initiative launched by his Excellency Mr. president, Abd El-Fattah EL-Sisi. These convoys are sent under the auspices of prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the University president and prof.Dr. Mahmoud Magraby, the supervisor of the community service and environment development sector.

Benha University has ended the proceeding of the camp of "future leaders 8" that aims at developing the young leaders in the leadership development center in Moshtohor under the auspices of prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the university, prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of education and students affairs and prof.Dr. Mohamed Abu Salim, the supervisor of the leadership development center. Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the vice president of education and students affairs attends the honorary ceremony of the participants of the training course in the presence of prof.Dr. Ahmed Naguib, the head of the leadership development center.

 The faculty and leadership development center in Benha University announces that the registration for the 4^th round of the leadership and influence program is now available in the current month of February. Benha University is going to organize the first Egyptian Hackathon about smart cities at the level of the State in the period from 24 to 26 March, 2022. The Hackathon is going to be held under auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research and Amazon Web Services. Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President said that Benha University's keenness on this important event comes from the belief in the role of higher education and scientific research in supporting digital transformation. He also added that the constant work aims to achieve the objectives of Egypt's Vision 2030 by shifting towards a knowledge-based digital economy, encouraging innovation, research and development.
He also mentioned that holding the first Hackathon in the field of smart cities comes with the purpose of promoting and motivating young programmers and people with ideas and visions to present their smart ideas and their projects that contribute in improving the level of constructing buildings and controlling cities, as well as the keenness to contribute at constructing the New Administrative Capital to be the first smart city in Egypt.
Benha University president has mentioned that the Hackathon will witness a race among participant teams of students from both public and private Egyptian universities who are going to work on finding innovative solutions in various fields such as; smart buildings, smart facilities, smart parks, smart transportation, smart traffic, smart hospitals, smart recycling, smart monitoring, smart energy, smart management, smart schools and smart universities. It is noteworthy that the winners of the Hackathon will receive financial prizes totaling 100,000 Egyptian pounds which provided by Benha University, in addition to valuable prizes provided by Amazon Web Services. The winners will also have a great opportunity to market their innovations to the Egyptian private universities.
