In the frame of Benha University keenness to develop its administrative body and qualifying for ISO9001, a meeting has been held with SGS Company on Sunday, 31/05/2015 at the University Council Hall under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; Prof. Dr. Abdel Rahim Shulah, the Advisor the University President for Improvement Qualifying for Accreditation; and Prof. Dr. Saad Mahmoud, the Manager of the University Quality Assurance and Qualifying for Accreditation Center. 

     Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University and the member of the delegation participated in the Higher Education Going Global Conference 2015 in Britain said that the Egyptian delegation has attended several intensive meetings with the education officials in the Ministry of Business and Innovation to discuss the cooperation ways between Egyptian and British sides. He also added that the two sides have agreed to hold a forum for the Egyptian and British universities during the next October in Cairo. 

      Benha University has participated in the Arab Regional Conference for Quality Assurance in Higher Education 2015 which held in Conrad Cairo in the duration from 06/06/ to 08/06/2015 by the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education “ANQAHE” under the auspices of the Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and the global bodies (UNESCO – DAAD – DIES) with cooperation of the Supreme Council of Universities and the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education “NAQAAE”. 

     Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the president of Benha University has received today Wednesday, 10/06/2015 the delegation of the Cognitive and Technological Services in the Supreme Council of Universities “SCU” under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hassan, the Deputy Manager of the Cognitive and Technological Services Center and the Manager of the Egyptian Universities Network.

In the frame of cooperation between Benha University and Elsevier Company for the International Publication and upon the request of the High Committee for World Rankings, the Company has provided Scopus databases for free throughout the University network for 2 weeks from Wednesday, 10/06/2015. 

On Tuesday, 13/05/2015 Benha University held a workshop to discuss the cooperation ways between the Egyptian Public Universities and the British Universities under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and in the presence of Mr. Mark Stefans, the British Cultural Advisor. During the workshop, Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din confirmed that the scholarships presented by the British Universities have been increased for the Egyptian students. 

Mr. Mark Stefans, the British Cultural Advisor in Cairo said that the education issues at the top priorities of cooperation with the Egyptian government during the workshop held in Benha University to discuss the cooperation ways between the Egyptian Public Universities and the British Universities under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President. 

Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the Vice-president of Benha University for Education and Students' Affairs has inspected the committees of second term exams at the faculties of commerce, agriculture, and engineering - Shubra. During the visiting, he said that the complete calm is prevailing exams in all faculties and no riots or violation of university values and traditions have been happened. 

      The Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor, Benha University has organized its 1st scientific conference in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; Prof. Dr. Abdel Rahim Shulah, the CEO of the University Projects Management Unit “PMU”; Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Iraqy, the Faculty Dean; and Prof. Dr. Salah Abdel Moamen, the former Minister of Agriculture. 

    Benha University Pavilion in the Higher Education Development Conference and Exhibition in China which held in the duration from 29/04/2015 to 06/05/2015 has attracted a large number of Chinese professors and students to ask for and discuss programs and courses presented in the University.
