Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President received Mr. Idris Ahmed Al-Jazwi, the Assistant Cultural and Academic Attaché at the Libyan Embassy in Cairo in the presence of Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs and Prof. Ahmed Yousef, the Director of the University International Students Unit.
In this regard, El Saeed said that the meeting discussed the aspects of joint cooperation between the University and the Libyan Embassy and how to support Libyan students at the University in different stages, indicating that the University has many distinguished faculties and programs that include all modern scientific disciplines in various fields as It seeks to develop services provided to the international students.
Benha University President and the Indian Ambassador in Cairo open «Navdab Syrian» Exhibition
Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University and Mr. Sanjoy Bhattacharya, the Ambassador of India in Cairo opened «Navdab Syrian» Exhibition which includes the pictures of Navdab Syrian, the former Indian ambassador during his visiting to the University in the past years. The opening was attended by Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students’ Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches’ Affairs.
Shams: Holding the 1st Forum of the British Universities in Cairo next October
Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University and the member of the delegation participated in the Higher Education Going Global Conference 2015 in Britain said that the Egyptian delegation has attended several intensive meetings with the education officials in the Ministry of Business and Innovation to discuss the cooperation ways between Egyptian and British sides. He also added that the two sides have agreed to hold a forum for the Egyptian and British universities during the next October in Cairo.

Today, 03/03/2015, Sir/ John Kasn, the British Ambassador in Cairo and Prof. Dr. El Sayed Abdel Khalek, the Minister of Higher Education will open the first discussion session between Egypt and the United Kingdom “UK” on “Policies of developing the higher education between the two countries. Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University said that meeting will include the presidents of the Egyptian universities through holding three scientific sessions about the education ways in Egypt and UK under the title of “the Current Situation and the Future Vision of the Universities”.
World Leprosy Day for the 3rd Time in Benha University
The Egyptian-French Medical Association in Cairo participates in the World Leprosy Day that will be held for the third time in Benha University on Saturday, 21/02/2015, 10:00am at the Great Hall of Celebrations.
It is worth mentioning that representatives from more than 15 African and Francophone states and from World Health Organization “WHO” will participate in that Day Effectively.
