Benha University has got the 3rd place at the level of the Egyptian Public Universities according to the Spanish ranking “Webometrics”, January 2016. In this respect, Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President said that the University has achieved a great success by getting the 11th place at the level of the Arab world and the 14th place in Africa as well as 1238th globally

Dr. Ashraf El Shihy, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Dr. Ashraf Hatem, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities in addition to some presidents of Egyptian universities have participated in the events of the Ministries of Higher Education Forum in London.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University confirmed the role of the Egyptian Police and Army in the Defense for the security and safety of the nation in addition to their bereavement, so that everyone should feel the greatness of the Egyptian Army. He added that the Young are the hope and future of Egypt and the total of our work and our giving is the status and progress of Egypt.

On Sunday, 22/02/2015 before the main building and in the presence of Benha University leadership, the University has made a joint pose with the families of martyrs who killed in Libya and to support the procedures took by the Egyptian government.

In the frame of cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Youth, Ibdaa Festival 3 “Sharjah Cultural Award for the Youth in the Egyptian Universities and Higher Institutes” has been launched on Saturday, 31/01/2015 at the Youth City in Alexandria. It is worth mentioning that Benha University within participants in that festival.

The Scientific Activity of Benha University has participated in the Apical Forum of Nanotechnology in the duration from 26/01/2015 to 29/01/2015 under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of the University; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; Prof. Dr. Khalid Eissawy, the General Coordinator of Student Activities; and Mrs. Sohair Eliwa, the General Manager of the University Youth Care Department. It is worth mentioning that the University has got the first place in the general training for the third year respectively at the level of the Egyptian Universities.
