Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benah University President received Major General Staff of War Nagy Shahoud, Counselor at Nasser Higher Military Academy at the symposium that organized by the General Administration of Youth Welfare on "The War of Rumors and Terrorism".
The Symposium was held in the presence of Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof.Dr. Mahmoud Iraqy, the general supervisor of the environment service and community development, Prof.Dr. Khalid Essawy, the general coordinator of the student activities and Dr. Mosbeh EL-khehily, the Director General of Youth Welfare. During the meeting, Dr. Gamal Sosa stressed the University 's keenness to hold dialogues with its students and support the various activities for them, explaining that the University is working to intensify symposium, programs and awareness activities aimed at developing students ' awareness to confront rumors, extremist ideas and the challenges facing the country.

Benha University has launched an initiative under the title of “NO To Terrorism” in solidarity with efforts of the State in facing this brutal enemy. Prof. Dr. Gamal Sousa, the General Supervisor of the University Hostels said that a youth initiative has been launched with participation of all sports teams to deliver a message to all Egyptian students that "we are fighting terrorism and the Egyptian people appears in adversities" pointing out that the state is stronger than any terrorism.

In its meeting on Monday16/02/2015 under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University Council has mourned the martyrs who had been murdered at the hands of terrorism in Libya.

The Council said in its statement which announced by Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din that Egypt faces a battle against terrorism and the national support for our political leadership is an obligation to face extremism and terrorist groups.
