Benha University President: The political Leadership pays Great Attention to Students' Talents at Universities
Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has confirmed that the political leadership is interested in student talents and innovative projects within Egyptian universities. This came during the University president inauguration of the "Innovative Entrepreneurial Skills" event, which was organized by the University's Community Service and Environmental Development Sector.
The inauguration of the "Innovative Entrepreneurial Skills" event has been held in presence of Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, the Vice president for Postgraduate and Scientific Research , Dr.Mahmoud Iraqi , the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Development affairs , Dr.Khalid Siam, the general coordinator for students affairs and Dr.Ayman Samir , the manager of Technology Innovation Commercialization Office “TICO”.
Dr. Gamal Sosa mentioned during the meeting that the term entrepreneurship is witnessing a great boom during this period, not only at the global level, but also at the Egyptian level. He also added all countries pay great importance to entrepreneurship, which is reflected in its achievement of sustainable development. As a result, Benha University pays great importance to entrepreneurship at the University and Governorate level, and provides all possible support means that help spread the culture of entrepreneurial work among students, administrators and faculty members.
El Gizawy hands Certificates for participants at Leadership and Influence Program
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University handed certificates for all participants at "Leadership and Influence Program" which is approved by the Supreme Council of Universities and aims to qualify candidates for Faculties' Deanship.
El Gizawy said that the program is organized by Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC). On the other hand, the meeting was in presence of Dr.Gamal El Saeed, the former President of Benha University, Dr.Hany Shehta, the manager of Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC), Dr. Hany Shams El Din and Dr.Mustafa Rashid, the former dean of Commerce Faculty.
In his Inspection Tour: Dr. Tamer Samir inspects Leadership Development Center
Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected the Leadership Development Center at Moshtohor. Dr. Tamer Samir was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Abu Salim , the General Supervisor of the Center and Dr. Ahmed Naguib, the general Manager of the Center to check out the preparations and procedures used to receive Benha University students participants in the Future Leaders Camp 7, which will be organized by the center this month.
He also added that Benha University is keen to benefit from Its youth energies so that the Future Leaders camp 7 includes organizing a number of seminars and cultural meetings, and supporting outstanding students in all fields.
El Gizawy inaugurates Leadership and Influence Program to qualify candidates for Faculties' Deanship
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, inaugurated "Leadership and Influence Program" which is approved by the Supreme Council of Universities and aims to qualify candidates for Faculties' Deanship. El Gizawy said that the program is organized by Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) and it lasts for three days; totally 18 training hours.
El Gizawy also mentioned that the program discusses the following aspects; Effective communication skills, dealing with others, leadership, Supervision and team management skills, Problem-solving and Decision-making skills, Legal and financial aspects of universities, Time and meeting management, Anti-corruption and Spreading values of integrity and transparency. On the other hand, Dr.Hany Shehta, the manager of Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) said that all session are delivered by a number of scientific and academic leaders at Benha University and he also said that the number of participants in the course so far has reached about 20 trainees.
