Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development; and Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students’ Affairs have visited the faculties of arts, commerce, education, nursing, computers, applied arts, and medicine in addition to the University hospitals to monitor the status of study and students during the first days of studying.

Minia University announces for holding the 2^nd Minia International Conference for Agriculture and Irrigation in the Nile Basin Countries which will be held in El-Minia, Egypt, 23^rd to 25^th March 2015. The theme of the conference highlights the desire of the committee to bring together experts from a variety of fields to further knowledge and research in Agriculture and Irrigation. In addition to keynote addresses and symposia given by invited overseas and African speakers, individuals are invited to submit papers for presentation as talks in concurrent sessions, or as posters.
