Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. El Sayed Ahmad Abdel Khalek, the Minister of Higher Education; a workshop has been organized by the British Council with cooperation of Alexandria University in the duration from 01/09/2014 to 02/09/2014 about World Ranking of Universities to improve the world ranking of the Egyptian universities especially the English ranking, Times and Shanghai. The workshop has been attended by Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; Prof. Dr. Hussein Eissa, the President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Dr. Osama Ibrahim, the President of Alexandria University; and Prof. Dr. Yasser Sakr, the President of Helwan University i9n addition to a number of experts from the British Council and the British University
