The presidents of Benha, Helwan and Ain Shams universities meet today the representatives of the Newton Fund at the British Council headquarters. The Newton Fund is a science and innovation fund that the UK Government would like to partner with the Egyptian Government on. The fund is worth stg. 2 million pounds for at least 3 years. It is worth mentioning that the representative of Benha University in that meeting is Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din- the University President and two young researchers.

In cooperation with Quality Assurance Unit and Excellence Project at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; the Information Technology Unit invites all faculty members and the assistance authority to attend a workshop about “How to publish the Scientific Researches on Google Scholar” at the Faculty Council Hall on Tuesday, 18/03/2014, 11:00AM. 

Eng. Mohamed Abdel Zaher, the Governor of Qalyoubia and Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University received Prof. Dr. Adel Adawy, the Minister of Health and Population during his visiting to Benha University Hospitals, the University Hostels, and the Religious Institute to check the University preparations for the second academic term. It is worth mentioning that Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs also received the Minister.
