Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President said the University has received an invitation as member of the Executive Office for the University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR) to participate in the free virtual summer courses 2020 for university teachers and students. He added, this invitation comes in the frame of closing the cross-border between countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic referring the courses will cover several fields like energy, mechanism, materials, medicine, architectural design, and others.

On behalf of Benha University President; Prof. Dr. Randa Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs has received Dr. Mohamed ElKoosy, the CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency "ESA" and his delegation at the University branch in Obour city in the presence of Dr. Kareem Eldish, the Academic Manager. During the meeting, Dr. Randa has discussed the plan of activating the cooperation protocol signed between the University and the Agency throughout holding a number of activities inside Obour campus by organizing summer schools for students to raise the awareness of the importance of using space in working life fields with practical training in satellite components

With cooperation of the Egyptian knowledge Bank "EKB", an online seminar has been held today about using Dar Almandoumah databases through EKB by participation of 47 participants from faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students. It is worth mentioning that Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs has participated in the seminar in the frame of the University's keenness to develop the abilities of faculty members, researchers, and students in research skills at the databases of EKB.
