Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President announces for the University new progress in Webometrics Ranking of World Universities for Citations - July, 2020 which ranked the University at 1117 at the level of World universities instead of 1305 by difference of 188 comparing with January, 2020 Ranking. It is worth mentioning that the University has gone up one more place at the level of the Egyptian universities and research institutes to be the 10th. In the same context, Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said the number of the University reference scientific citations has reached 91478 comparing with the previous edition which was 64,168 referring to an increase of 27,310 citations in only six months

Benha University students have participated in "We Are All One" Initiative launched by the Ministry of Interior upon the recommendations of the Political Leadership to take the necessary actions to support the social protection system for citizens. The students have been participated in the Initiative under the sponsorship of Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, the University President and Prof. Dr. Hussien Almaghrabi, the University Vice-president for Education and Students ' Affairs.

Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has announced for a new achievement in the world universities ranking indicating the University has occupied the rank 201 – 250 among more than 414 universities in the world and 14 universities in Egypt at 3rd group in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020 for the 1st time
